Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center has been a part of the Geisinger family since its opening in 1981. The level III NICU is staffed 24/7 by neonatologists, neonatal nurse practitioners, neonatal nurses, and respiratory therapists. GWV currently sees approximately 1,900 annual deliveries.

Job Description

• We are currently seeking physicians for full-time, part-time, or per diem roles.
• Benefits of being an internal 1099 with OB Stat include higher hourly rates, travel and malpractice covered, active sites in over 40 states, priority scheduling in front of external 1099s, and no shift commitments.
• We can customize your schedule to avoid any conflicts with your full-time practice. Working only 2 shifts a month can yield an extra 100k per year.

• Estimated Deliveries for Hospitalists (monthly): 50-60

• Residency Program & Type: Yes, Family medicine residents rotate on L&D floor
• Additional details: Will work alongside hospital-employed hospitalist and CNM. They will provide backup.
