Locum Emergency Physician

Location: Woodmere, Florida

Job Description:

• Start ASAP and work ongoing
• Main hospital campus may consider less than 12-hour shifts
• Affiliated FSED's require 12-hour shifts
• Equivalent of 2 FTE's needed
• Flexible to work days, nights, and weekends
• Open to working at main hospital as well as affiliated FSER's

Requirements:

• Must be Board Certified in ABEM or AOBEM
• Qualified candidates must be Board Certified in Emergency Medicine, or Family Practice or Internal Medicine with 2 years of current Emergency Medicine experience

• 20,000 Annual ED Volume
• Physician Coverage Daily: 24 hours; 12-hour shifts
• APP Coverage Daily: during peak times
• Meditech P-doc EMR & M-Modal Dictation
• AHCA Primary Stroke Center Designation
• Phlebotomy to the ED during surges, difficult sticks, or sepsis/stroke alerts
• MRI, CT scan, X-ray, Ultrasound
