Physician Assistant, Lower Extremity Sports Medicine/Foot and Ankle

Join Olympia Orthopaedic Associates as an experienced Physician Assistant to work directly with one of our well-established Orthopaedic Surgeons who specialize in conditions of the lower extremities and Sports Medicine. Under the supervision of a surgeon, you will be responsible for examining patients, administering drugs, ordering medical and diagnostic testing, diagnosing illnesses, and counseling patients and their families. Surgical assistance and hospital rounding will be required.

Job Description

• Examine patients and administer drugs
• Order medical and diagnostic testing
• Diagnose illnesses and counsel patients and their families
• Provide surgical assistance and participate in hospital rounding

Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant license in the state of WA
• 2-3 years of Orthopaedic experience as a Physician Assistant
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire

• Starting pay range: $100k - $175k per year, with long-term employees earning up to $218k per year
