Anesthesiologist

Facility outside of Minneapolis seeking coverage to start as soon as possible.

Job Description

• Coverage needed due to a shortage to cover operating rooms for expected growth
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma level 1
• Number of Operating Rooms: 16
• Medical direction model
• Scrubs provided on site
• Needs to be comfortable seeing all ages; permanent staff will cover pediatric cases
• Required cases include: Spine, Urology, General, Orthopedics, Robotics, Endoscopy, Plastics, EP lab/Cath lab, Navigational Bronchoscopy, Craniotomies, Simple Vascular (facility employed staff will do all Open Hearts, Thoracotomies, Trauma Now, Obstetrics, Pediatrics)
• No need to do heart/lung cases

Requirements

• NBCRNA - Required
• MN License - Highly Preferred
• Should live at least 60 miles outside of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metropolitan area
• BLS, ACLS, PALS - Required
• 3 years recent experience working in a hospital setting - Required
• Full-time availability (30-40 hours weekly) - Required

Schedule

• ASAP - ongoing
• Full-time starting as soon as possible; preference for providers with availability for 12-hour shifts, but open to 8s and 10s
• Candidates should be flexible working a schedule of at least 4 days per week
• All scheduled hours will be paid at a regular time rate (no overtime rate)
