Geriatric Physician

Client in Muskegon, MI is seeking coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8 AM to 5 PM starting from July 28, 2025, to August 15, 2025.

Job Description

• Provide care in post-acute care, long-term care, independent living, and assisted living facilities.
• Average number of patients per day: 5-7 for 2- or 3-day requests.
• Work alongside 1 clinic physician and 2 mid-level providers.
• Utilize facility resources and EMR systems including Epic, Point Click Care, and QuickMar.
• Areas of treatment required include:
  • Age-Related Macular Degeneration (AMD)
  • Alzheimer's Disease
  • Cataracts
  • Glaucoma
  • Major Depression
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Psychosocial Factors
  • Stroke (Brain Attack)
  • Dementia
  • Incontinence
  • Hearing and Vision Loss
  • Cancer
  • Insomnia
  • Diabetes
  • Heart Failure
  • Frailty
  • Balance Issues
  • Osteoporosis

Requirements

• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• Active MI License - REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
