This position is for an in-home care nurse, with a 1:1 nurse to patient ratio.

    Compensation:

    • $33.00-$40.00/hr

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Manage the healthcare plan for assigned patient according to physician's instructions
    • Provide personalized care including bathing, grooming, and assistance with daily activities
    • Monitor vital signs, including temperature, blood pressure, and pulse
    • Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate records
    • Check for signs of infection, bedsores, and wounds, and provide appropriate care
    • Educate and advise caregivers in the household on patient care techniques
    • Collaborate with other healthcare personnel to develop and improve the patient's healthcare plan
    • Provide palliative care as needed to ensure patient comfort and well-being

    Knowledge and Experience:

    • Understanding of nursing principles and practices
    • Compassion and empathy for patients and their families
    • Ability to think critically and solve problems effectively
    • Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
    • Strong time management and organization skills
    • Peg Tube/G-Tube Experience
    • Trach/Vent experience (1 year experience required)

    Requirements:

    • CPR/BLS Certified (Required)
    • Valid In-State Nursing License (LPN or RN) or Multi-State License (MSL) in Nursing (Required)
