    Pelvic Health Physical Therapist

    Optimal Physical Therapy is seeking 2 full-time Pelvic Health Physical Therapists with a clinical interest and passion in Pelvic Rehab/Women's and Men's Health to join our growing team of 5 Pelvic Health PT specialists who have a combined 30+ years of experience. Optimal Physical Therapy opened in 2011 and is an outpatient private practice, owned and operated by physical therapists, serving the Amarillo Metro and Texas Panhandle. Optimal has grown to two locations, with the newest, custom-designed location housing the pelvic health team. Optimal emphasizes personalized, hands-on treatments and fosters a very family-oriented environment for our patients. We continue to experience tremendous growth in all our programs but especially Pelvic Health. This is an excellent career opportunity for a physical therapist who wants to join a well-established Pelvic Rehab and Women's Health program.

    Job Description

    • Provide personalized, hands-on treatments in Pelvic Rehab/Women's and Men's Health.
    • Manage a caseload that includes pre- and post-partum diagnoses, pelvic pain, painful bladder syndrome/interstitial cystitis, urinary incontinence, hip labrum pathology, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, colorectal conditions/chronic constipation, pain after hernia repair, pelvic organ prolapse, and diastasis recti management.

    Requirements

    • At least one year of clinical experience treating Women's Health and Pelvic Rehab cases.
    • Completion of Pelvic Floor Level 1 & 2 training through the APTA Women's Health Section, Herman & Wallace, or similar.
    • Willingness to consider new graduates who have completed a minimum of a Level 1 Pelvic Rehab course and clinical internship with experience in providing direct internal assessment and treatment.
    • Prior orthopedic and sports medicine experience and proficiency in manual therapy interventions to the spine, hip, and pelvic girdle are a plus.
    • Experience and prior coursework in treating pregnancy-related musculoskeletal dysfunction are highly desired.
    • Physical Therapy License (Required).
