    We seek a Per Diem Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health and specialty pharmacy primarily through dispensing medical prescriptions and performing necessary clerical duties while under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

    Job Description

    • Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members of the clinic staff
    • Fill prescription orders and make them available for verification under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
    • Order, receive, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
    • Receive and process wholesaler medication orders
    • Verify medication stock and enter data in the computer to maintain inventory records
    • Work with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and keep the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state requirements
    • Perform various clerical duties relating to the department
    • Communicate with strong professional verbal and written communication skills
    • Provide coverage to home site in Sikeston and Cape Girardeau when needed
    • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements

    • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Missouri
    • Access to reliable transportation

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 6+ months of Pharmacy Technician experience
    • National Pharmacy Technician Certification

    • The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
