Job Description

• Retrieve medication from stock and count and package orders for pharmacist review
• Maintain workstations with adequate supplies and remove outdated products from shelves
• Assist with inventory replenishment and maintain par levels of pre-packaged auxiliary items
• Occasionally reach out to patients for customer service calls and make inquiries on orders shipped
• Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for Pharmacist verification
• Some packing and shipping of completed prescription orders to patients
• Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units
• Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed (includes vials, caps, labels, etc.)

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Kansas
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks
• Ability to work onsite at 6860 W 115th St. Overland Park, KS 66211, Monday through Friday with 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00am-4:30pm
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
• Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this role is $16.00 to $28.85 per hour based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
