Job Description

• Generate high-quality diagnostic medical radiographs, contributing significantly to the accuracy of diagnoses and the delivery of exceptional patient care.
• Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations.
• Prepare patients for procedures by providing instruction and education.
• Select and operate equipment; recognize essential conditions for successful completion of procedures.
• Perform Medical Assistant duties when required, such as cast removal, stitches and staple removal, dressing changes, and other patient needs.
• Assist physicians in patient care as requested.
• Other responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology.
• Unrestricted NYS Radiologic Technologist license in NYS.
• 1-2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• CPR/BLS preferred.

Work Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• 40 hours per week
• No weekends

Pay

• From $29.00 per hour

Other Information

Ability to travel to various OrthoNY locations if needed. Reliable transportation is essential.
