Join our dynamic team as a Physical Therapist in Essex County, New Jersey. This per diem position has the potential to become part-time and offers the opportunity to provide therapy in patients' homes, senior residences, and assisted living facilities.

Job Description

• Perform in-home physical therapy for patients who may or may not be home-bound.
• Assess patients and their home environments for safety and environmental barriers.
• Order adaptive equipment and conduct fall risk assessments.
• Work to reduce pain levels, increase range of motion (ROM), functional strength, balance, coordination, and gait analysis.
• Provide patient education and implement compensatory strategies.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy (PT) is required.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience working with older adults is preferred.
• Home care experience is a plus.
• Must be licensed in the state of New York.
• Ability to relocate to Essex County, NJ before starting work is required.
