Anesthesiology Locum Tenens Opportunity

This locum tenens Anesthesiology opportunity is located in Sioux City, IA. The position offers a chance to work in a Level II trauma center with a high volume of emergency visits and admissions.

Job Description

• Duration: 6-8 weeks with possible extension
• Start date: March 13, 2017
• Schedule: Full-time (daytime and call coverage)
• Shift: 7 AM - 3 PM (if not on 1st call)
• Call: 7 AM - 7 PM, with call back distribution as follows:
  • 25% general
  • 10% OBGYN
  • 20% Neuro
  • 15% Cardiac/Thoracic/Vascular
  • 5% bariatric
• Group: 5 anesthesiologists
• Hospital: Level II trauma center, 32K ER visits, 5,600 admits
• Scope: General, Spinal, Epidural, Regional, OB, Neuro, Open heart, Thoracic, Vascular, Orthopedic, Acute pain, Ventilation management (central and arterial)

Requirements

• Board Certified and active Iowa license at time of submission
• NALS certification
