Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant

We are hiring an experienced cardiothoracic physician assistant in beautiful Phoenix, Arizona! Come join our team in one of the most desirable, beautiful cities in the nation! The Physician Assistant will have a heavily autonomous role in the Cardiac Surgery Operating Room, primarily first assisting, but will also perform a full continuum of care role in the ICU, pre and post-op as well.

Job Description

• First assist in cardiac surgery operating room
• Provide full continuum of care in the ICU, pre and post-operative settings
• Participate in 4 10-hour shifts per week with only one weekend of rounding/first assisting per month
• Engage in a high-volume practice with 850 heart surgeries annually
• Work with exceptionally skilled surgeons in a good culture
• Involvement in ECMO program, LVAD program (in process), research, and a teaching program

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of cardiac surgery first assisting experience
• Endoscopic vein harvesting experience
