Job Description

• Assist residents with various activities of daily living, such as grooming, bathing, eating, toileting, mobility, range of motion, and skin care
• Work under the direction of a licensed nurse or manager to ensure the comfort, happiness, and safety of each resident
• Communicate effectively any changes in resident conditions, refusal of care, problems, or complaints to the appropriate personnel
• Uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance, life safety, and infection control
• Accurately and thoroughly document all relevant information in a timely manner

Requirements

• Excellent English language skills, including the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Compassion, empathy, and the ability to create a nurturing and supportive environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Hawaii CNA certification
