    Location: Parkview Health Diagnostic Radiology

    Job Description:

    • Operate gamma cameras to perform standard dynamic, static, and tomographic procedures for diagnostic imaging.
    • Prepare, calibrate, and calculate radiopharmaceuticals while maintaining sterility and integrity.
    • Treat patients, families, and healthcare team members with respect and courtesy.
    • Operate diagnostic imaging equipment in accordance with department policy and procedures.
    • Comply with the "Code of Ethics" and "Clinical Performance Standards" by the Society of Nuclear Medicine.
    • Ensure knowledge of NRC requirements for receiving, shipping, disposal, surveys, swipe testing, and radioactive contamination.

    Education:

    • Satisfactory completion of a formal nuclear medicine program or radiologic technology with additional nuclear training.

    Licensure/Certification:

    • Registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (R), ARRT (N), or CNMT.
    • Licensed with the Indiana State Board of Health for nuclear.
    • CPR Certification.

    Experience:

    • Previous experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred, but not required, or previous experience in a similar role.

    Other Qualifications:

    • Knowledge of imaging various anatomical structures.
    • Must be able to lift 50 lbs., 100 lbs. shared lifting.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of general computer skills and applications.
    • Must be able to take call, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
    • Demonstrate ability to multi-task and work independently using critical thinking skills.
