Job Title: Behavioral Health Specialist

Location: Parkview Health PB OP Huntington

Job Description:

• Perform as a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
• Provide a full range of assessment, psychotherapeutic, and counseling services to children, adolescents, and families.
• Develop and maintain consultative and liaison relationships with internal and external caregivers.
• Provide emergency services as required.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related mental health field.
• Active Associate License or Temporary License required; must bill independently.
• Licensure and certifications must be current.
• Must work flexible hours and days.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in computer use.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, 100 pounds shared lifting.
• Ability to complete job duties autonomously.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to interpret and analyze medical and social history information.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to influence others positively with respect and compassion.
• Ability to resolve conflict.
