Palliative Nurse Practitioner

Personal Care Medical Associates is looking for a Palliative Nurse Practitioner to join our growing practice caring for patients in long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, and hospitals. A passion for this work and a love for seniors is a must.

Job Description

• Contributes to effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range geriatric patient care issues that must be addressed; recommending options and courses of action.
• Assesses patient health by interviewing patients; performing physical examinations; obtaining, updating, and studying medical histories.
• Documents patient care services by charting in patient and department records.

Requirements

• Current, unrestricted NP license
• Ability to obtain DEA licensure
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (Required)
