Licensed Practical Nurse (Pediatrics)

Join our team at Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA (Bucks County), where we are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide direct nursing care to our residents. This position offers a starting salary of $32.00/hr and a sign-on bonus of $8,000 for full-time and $4,000 for part-time positions.

Job Description

• Assist in ensuring the general health and well-being of assigned individuals by providing direct nursing care.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, assess, and evaluate the care of individuals to maintain high-quality care and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor the performance of non-licensed personnel and assist in modifying treatment regimens to meet the physical, psychosocial, and developmental needs of individuals.
• Actively participate in the planning and delivery of care to all assigned individuals.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, utilizing the 5 rights of medication administration.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation of nursing admission evaluations and re-evaluations of individual care needs.
• Communicate with RN and the individual's healthcare team members to seek guidance when care needs exceed LPN scope of practice.

Requirements

• Credentials as a Licensed Practical Nurse with a current state license in good standing.
• Valid, current BLS/CPR and First Aid certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Training and work experience in a pediatric setting preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
