Join our team as a Nurse Technician (CNA) at Pediatric Specialty Care in Point Pleasant, PA! We offer a competitive base rate, plus a sign-on bonus of $6,000 for full-time and $3,000 for part-time positions, along with shift differentials up to $3.00/hour.

Job Description

• Assist nurses in delivering high-quality care to our pediatric residents.
• Provide hands-on support with daily living activities, ensuring comfort and dignity.
• Foster a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children and families.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver the best outcomes.
• Provide individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) care and services including changing bed/crib linens, assisting with bowel and bladder functions, and transporting individuals.
• Document all provided services in the individual's medical record.
• Prepare individuals for meals and assist with serving and feeding as indicated in the care plan.
• Complete clinical duties including performing range of motion exercises, emptying ostomy bags, and obtaining vital signs following training.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties before leaving the work area.
• Report all changes in the individual's condition to the supervisor promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of individuals' information and privacy while performing job duties.
• Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth and positive emphasis.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess and maintain current, valid CPR/First Aid certification.
• Current, valid driver license.
• Proficiency with computer programs and applications preferred.
• Nursing Assistant/Medical Assistant Certification preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language at an intermediate or more advanced level.
