Neonatologist - Small Baby Unit Director
Location: Long Beach, California
Job Description:
- Seeking a BC Neonatologist to serve as Small Baby Unit Director for an established SBU program at Miller Children's and Women's Hospital (Long Beach Memorial).
- MCWH is a Regional Level IV NICU with an average daily census of 55 and approximately 1,400 patient admits per year.
- In addition to our affiliated Maternal-Fetal Medicine physicians (+ fellowship program), there are Ob Hospitalists and full on-site pediatric medical and surgical subspecialty support including a pediatric cardiovascular program.
- Services offered include maternal and neonatal transport, whole body cooling, iNO, Palliative Care Program, Telemedicine and a Small Baby Unit.
- 0.3 FTE of protected administrative time.
- Director stipend.
- Our NICU is part of a combined residency and fellowship program with the University of California Irvine and Children's Hospital of Orange County.
- Active participation in our robust CQI program is a must.
- Coverage will also be provided at community hospitals partnering with MCWH.
Requirements:
- BC Neonatologist
- Must have 3+ years' Small Baby Unit experience and/or directorship

- Base compensation is $270,000 - $375,000 with director stipend and bonus potential
