    Job Description:

    • 12-hour daytime shifts in the NICU at both Mercy Hospital and Nicklaus Children's Hospital
    • Team of hospitalists cover the newborn nursery

    Facility Overview:

    • Mercy Hospital: 25-bed Level III NICU with an expanding average daily census. Beautiful updated unit opened in 2022. Located in Coconut Grove with incredible views of Biscayne Bay.
    • Nicklaus Children's Hospital: 40-bed Level IV NICU, one of the few Level IV NICUs in Florida. Provides care for over 800 critically ill newborns each year. Receives newborns referred from other NICUs throughout South Florida, Latin America, and the Caribbean. Featured in the 2023 U.S. News and World Report rankings of the top 50 "Best Children's Hospitals". Recipient of gold-level Beacon Award for Excellence in patient care in the NICU, PICU, and CICU.
