Staff Nurse

Responsible for providing nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. The staff nurse functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice and coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Job Description

• Schedule: Weekend Option - work every Saturday and Sunday with another shift during the week.
• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Utilize nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
