    Physical Therapist

    Now hiring a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Piedmont Health and Rehab! This position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and student loan assistance.

    Job Description

    • Return patients to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of patient, physician, and therapy goals.
    • Follow all health, sanitary, and infection control policies and maintain established standards of practice set forth by the community's administration as well as policies and procedures.
    • Screen and evaluate all residents to determine the need for Physical Therapy.
    • Establish an individualized treatment program with consultation to facility staff in areas of Physical Therapy.
    • Provide results of the evaluation and treatment objectives to caregivers, family members, and residents.
    • Complete all documentation as required by the fiscal intermediary, within the designated time frame.
    • Implement the treatment program based on evaluative results.
    • Monitor the resident's response to treatment and alter the treatment plan as appropriate.
    • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Rehab Aides.

    Requirements

    • Employee must possess a Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
    • Current and valid license granted from the state of employment.
    • Previous experience in long-term care preferred, but not required.
