    Internal or Family Medicine Trained Physician

Piedmont Augusta is committed to providing high quality and compassionate care to patients. The ideal BC/BE candidate will be self-motivated to excel as a clinician as well as committed to further develop the practice.

    Job Description:

    • Provide evaluation and treatment for a wide range of illnesses and injuries.
    • Document all patient care in our EMR system including in-clinic evaluation and treatment as well as any communications regarding patient care between the provider and patient or between provider and healthcare personnel.
    • The Prompt Care Candidate would be expected to be scheduled for shift work, which includes extended hours during the week and weekend as well as holiday hours. The weekend and holiday hours are shared equally among physician providers.

    Requirements:

    • Residency trained and board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
    • MD or DO
    • Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine in the State of Georgia
    • 1 to 2 years experience in a prompt care setting
    • Experience working with/supervising Advanced Practice Providers in a prompt care practice in the medical management and treatment of prompt care patients.
