Staff Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

It's time to get better at Piedmont! Join us at Piedmont Henry as we continue to grow. We are a 32-bed Cardiac/Pulmonary Unit with Hospitalists and APPs available 24/7. Our staff mix includes Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians. The typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:4 to 1:5.

Job Description

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Function within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrate professional growth and accountability.
• Maintain standards of practice and coordinate patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS certification required.
• New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.

Additional Qualifications

• For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Advanced certification in the field of specialty, if applicable.
• Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred.
