    RN - ICU, Full-Time Days

    Join us at Piedmont Henry Hospital as we continue to grow! We are a 24-bed Medical/Surgical fast-paced, high acuity Intensive Care Unit staffed with Critical Care Intensivists/APPs 24/7. Our team includes Registered Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, and Patient Care Technicians. The typical nurse to patient ratio is 1:2/1:3.

    Job Description

    • Manage patients in a high acuity ICU setting, including sepsis and multi-system organ failure management
    • Provide continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT)
    • Implement targeted temperature management (TTM) for post-cardiac arrest patients
    • Perform advanced invasive and non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, including arterial lines, Flotrac/EV 1000, and central venous catheters
    • Utilize EKOS ultrasound accelerated thrombolysis and intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP)
    • Titrate vasopressors and continuous paralytics
    • Use BIS monitor and TOF monitor for patient management
    • Manage pacemakers and complex respiratory failure patients requiring advanced ventilatory support
    • Care for post-percutaneous coronary intervention patients and acute stroke care with alteplase management
    • Address shock management, including cardiac, septic, and hypovolemic shock
    • Provide care for neurosurgical patients, including management of external ventricular devices
    • Assist patients with ARDS requiring manual prone therapy

    Requirements

    • Graduate of a nursing program
    • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
    • BLS certification required
    • New graduates of a nursing program are eligible

    Additional Qualifications

    • For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
    • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
    • Nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
