    Job Description

    • Diagnose and treat dental issues, including oral diseases and injuries.
    • Perform dental procedures such as fillings, crowns, extractions, and root canals.
    • Oversee and manage the practice's day-to-day operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
    • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
    • Supervise and mentor dental staff, including hygienists, assistants, and administrative personnel.
    • Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
    • Educate patients on oral healthcare and preventive practices.
    • Manage the financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, accounting, and billing.
    • Ensure the practice is equipped with the necessary tools and supplies by managing inventory and vendor relationships.
    • Stay updated on the latest dental technologies and techniques through continuing education.
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain patients.
    • Foster a positive and professional environment for both staff and patients.
    • Handle patient complaints and address any issues related to care or service.
    • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety standards.

    Requirements

    • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
    • Valid state dental license and certification to practice dentistry.
    • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in general dentistry.
    • Proven track record of managing and operating a dental practice.
    • Strong leadership and team management skills.
    • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills.
    • Proficiency with dental software and digital radiography.
    • In-depth knowledge of dental procedures, equipment, and best practices.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
