Job Description:

We are looking for the best Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide exceptional care to our residents. Come join our amazing team of healthcare professionals!

• Enhancing the clinical care and quality of life of our residents, ensuring that all resident rights are protected.
• Preparing and administering medications as ordered by the physician.
• Checking all residents daily to ensure that prescribed treatment is being properly administered by nursing personnel/assistants and evaluating their physical and emotional status.
• Keeping the RN Supervisor informed about the status of residents, staff, and related matters.
• Implementing recommended changes as directed by the RN Supervisor or the Director of Nurses.
• Administering professional services such as catheterization, tube feeding, suction, applying and changing dressings/bandages, packs, colostomy and drainage bags, taking blood, sputum, and urine specimens, etc., as established by the facility's policies and procedures.
• Completing all Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required record-keeping forms/charts upon the resident's admission, discharge, transfer, etc. File in the resident's chart and/or forward to the appropriate department.
• Giving and receiving nursing reports upon reporting in and ending shift duty hours.
• Investigating complaints and grievances and making necessary oral/written reports to the RN Supervisor or Director of Nurses.
• Presenting a professional image to residents and families through dress, behavior, and speech.
• Adhering to our policies and standards.

Requirements:

• Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
• A caring and loving personality and demeanor
• Leadership and mentorship skills
• The ability to work your scheduled shift
• The ability to read, write, and speak English
