Job Description

• Observing residents
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a resident's personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving, etc.
• Setting up meal trays and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding residents and serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds and keeping the residents' space clean and tidy
• Transporting residents within the facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining confidentiality of all resident and facility data

Requirements

• Previous experience in inpatient settings or long-term care preferred
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology is essential
• Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges is advantageous
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, including ICU settings if required
• Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others
• State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required
