Job Description

• Oversee and manage the daily operations of the unit
• Provide direct supervision and guidance to unit staff
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services to patients
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and make necessary adjustments to care plans
• Conduct regular staff meetings and provide ongoing training and education
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
• Assist with case management and discharge planning

Requirements

• Experience in toddler care, including knowledge of developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities
• Strong supervisory skills, with the ability to lead a team effectively
• Knowledge of health coaching principles and techniques
• Familiarity with aseptic technique for infection control
• Proficiency in using Athenahealth or similar electronic health record systems
• Competency in medication administration, including proper dosage calculations and administration routes
• Experience in maintaining accurate medical records, including documentation of assessments, treatments, and interventions
• Ability to catheterize patients when necessary
• Knowledge of case management principles and practices
