Emergency Medicine Physician

Join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician with an assignment starting in May 2024. This position involves 12-hour shifts (7a-7p, 7p-7a) in a busy emergency department with an annual volume of 20,000 patients. You will have solo physician coverage with Advanced Practice Provider (APP) support, which includes 10 hours of APP coverage daily.

Job Description

• Provide emergency care in a solo physician setting with APP support
• Manage an admission rate of 12%
• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient documentation
• No requirement for ATLS, ACLS & PALS for EM trained physicians; however, Primary Care trained physicians will need these certifications
• Work in an 11-bed department
• Flexible rate; please call to discuss

• Physician must be board eligible (BE) or board certified (BC)
