Physiatrist - Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician

Clients located 40 minutes northeast of Charlotte are looking to fill a 26-week contract for an experienced Physiatrist/Physical Medicine and Rehab Physician. The team consists of rehabilitation physicians, rehabilitation nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and case management. Other team members may include nutritional services, pharmacy, wound care, and respiratory.

Job Description

• Coverage type: full-time
• Schedule details: Monday to Friday; 7 AM to 4 PM
• Facility type: inpatient
• Practice setting: rehab unit
• EMR/charting software: Epic
• Beds: 8
• Patient age group: adult and 80% geriatric
• Procedures: inpatient rehab experience is preferred. Manage and treat an 8-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit. The rehabilitation unit provides a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation care. Care is provided to patients as a result of CVA, orthopedic injuries/surgeries, amputations, neurological disorders, neuromuscular disorders, major trauma, brain injury, and de-conditioned patients.
