Premier Physician Services is actively seeking experienced Pediatric Critical Care Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants for an ongoing locum tenens assignment with flexible shift scheduling and a highly collaborative, 24/7 team model. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-impact care in a well-supported PICU setting.

Job Description

• Start Date: ASAP Ongoing need
• Contract Length: 13 weeks initially (extensions up to 26 weeks considered)
• Schedule: 4-6 shifts per 4-week block (minimum)
• Days, evenings, nights & weekends (shared holiday/night/weekend rotation)
• Shift types include:
  • 10-hr Evening
  • 12-hr Day/Night

Clinical Expectations & Requirements

• Daily Census (PICU): 4-6 patients/day
• Night Call: In-house; shared after orientation
• Procedures: Arterial & central line placement, chest tubes, intubation, LP, PICC
• EMR: EPIC Proficiency required
• Certifications: BLS, PALS, NPR; Board Certified (NP/PA); licensure candidates accepted
• Credentialing: 90 days
• Interview Process: Quick and efficient 30-minute virtual interview post-submittal
