Job Description

• Assist Physical Therapists in providing care to patients under their direction and supervision.
• Provide exercise instructions and therapeutic methods such as electrical stimulation, mechanical traction, ultrasound, and gait and balance training.
• Record the patient's progress and responses to treatment and report the outcome of each treatment to the Physical Therapist.

Requirements

• Associate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Licensed in the State of New York/New Jersey.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility.
