Job Description

• Provide and direct Speech Therapy services to patients, including assessment and treatment, development and implementation of programs, and related professional in-services.
• Perform duties under the direction of physician's orders.
• Conduct screenings of patients at regular intervals to determine the need for intervention/treatment.
• Evaluate patients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to patients, family, and other team members.
• Establish individual patient schedules in conjunction with other team members.
• Develop treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short- and long-term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.
• Coordinate treatment plans with patients, families, and other team members.
• Monitor patients' responses to intervention and modify treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in the use of augmentative communication devices.
• Document results of patients' assessments, treatments, follow-ups, and termination of services.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Licensed in the State of New York/New Jersey
• CPR/BLS certification

Compensation

• Pay: $52.00 - $60.00 per hour
• Expected hours: No less than 36 per week
