    Sleep Medicine Nurse Practitioner

    Job Description

    • Conduct CPAP fittings and provide patient education on device usage and maintenance.
    • Diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of sleep disorders, including but not limited to:
      • Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
      • Insomnia
      • Narcolepsy
      • Restless Legs Syndrome
      • Circadian Rhythm Disorders
    • Oversee and interpret in-lab sleep studies, collaborating with sleep technologists to ensure accurate results and optimal patient care.

    Requirements

    • Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGNP).
    • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sleep medicine; new graduates will not be considered at this time.
    • Proficiency in CPAP therapy management and a comprehensive understanding of various sleep disorders.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
    • Active Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
