It is the perfect hybrid of outpatient and urgent/emergency dentistry, serving an underserved and extremely diverse patient population.

We are currently recruiting for a part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team at the Rensselaer County Jail in Troy, NY. This position only requires up to 8 hours of on-site dental care weekly! Flexible schedule Monday - Friday, during normal business hours.

Job Description

• Provide dental hygiene services in a correctional setting
• Develop trusting relationships with patients/inmates
• Monitor, observe, and document patients

Requirements

• Must have either an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from an accredited college or university
• Licensed dental hygienist in the State of New York
• Strong communication skills

Benefits

• Hourly compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, with a rate range of $30-$35 per hour
