Job Description:

• Urgent need for coverage from July 14-24, weekdays only, no weekends
• Flexible hours, typically 1-3 hours of rounding at least 3x per week, 1 hour of team conferences 2x week
• Responsibilities include admissions, discharge paperwork, and daily notes from rounding
• Provide 20 hours/week of patient care and administrative duties
• No call - hospitalist will cover nights and weekends
• Evaluate and admit patients within 24 hours of admission

Patient Types:

• Degenerative nervous system disorders with/without MCC
• Aftercare for musculoskeletal system and connective tissue with/without MCC
• Rehabilitation with/without CC/MCC
• Signs and symptoms without MCC
• Septicemia or severe sepsis without MV > 96 hours without MCC
• Multiple sclerosis and cerebellar without CC/MCC
• Intracranial hemorrhage or cerebral infarction with CC or TPA in 2.4 hours
• Nervous system neoplasms without MCC
• Other musculoskeletal system and connective tissue diagnoses without CC/MCC
• Medical back problems without MCC

Requirements:

• Minimum board certification: BC
• Experience with EMR system: MediTech

• Number of patients per shift: 5
