General/Interventional Radiologist

Location: Asheboro, NC

Job Description:

• Temporary General Radiologist with light Interventional Radiology responsibilities
• Main Hospital and MRI Center coverage with no call required
• Start Date: November 1, 2024 - Ongoing
• Coverage/Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8a-5p (For Mammography, Monday through Friday preferred; will also accept Monday, Wednesday, and Friday)

Requirements:

• Board Certified - REQUIRED
• BLS/ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
• Active NC License & DEA - REQUIRED
• Provider MUST have clean files to be considered - REQUIRED
• Specialty/shift preference MUST be noted at time of name clear - REQUIRED

Position Details:

• Light Interventional Procedures: Perform non-complex procedures such as:
  • Image-guided biopsies
  • Drainages
  • PICC line placements
  • Paracentesis and thoracentesis (fluid removal from the abdomen and chest)
• EMR: Meditech
• PACS: Intelerad
• VR: Fluency
