Hematology Oncology Provider

Join our team as a Hematology Oncology Internal Provider. This position is available from February 13th to April 17th and offers an opportunity to work in a supportive outpatient environment.

Job Description

• Schedule hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Patient load: 18 - 22 patients per shift
• EMR/Documentation: Athena
• Support staff includes 2 RNs and 2 CMAs
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• Outpatient only, with no inpatient responsibilities
• New patient consults: Up to 2-4 per day
• Time split between new consults and follow-ups: 20 minutes for established patients, minimum for new patients
• All types of patients will be seen, including acute leukemia cases

Requirements

• Board certification required
• Hematology and Oncology experience required
• Management of VAD/CV Catheters in the infusion clinic
