General Surgeon

We are seeking a General Surgeon for coverage from December 24 (7am) to December 26 (7am) and December 30 (7am) to January 4 (7am). This position requires a strong general surgeon capable of handling gunshot wounds, knife wounds, bear maulings, and horse accidents. The provider must be able to manage a rural hospital environment and triage critical patients until they can be transported to the next level of care hospital, which is located in Casper, two hours away.

Job Description

• Provide call coverage for both campuses, Lander and Riverton, which are 25 miles apart.
• Stay in Lander at the Holiday Inn Express during the assignment.

Requirements

• Must be a strong general surgeon with experience in trauma cases.

• Flights, mileage, lodging, and rental as needed.
