Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - PRN

Job Description:

• Staff position with direct care responsibilities and supervisory role for caregivers
• Responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care
• Coordinates care delivery to ensure resident needs are met in accordance with professional standards

Requirements:

• Skills: Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment; proficiency in English
• Experience: 2-3 years clinical experience; preferred in gerontological nursing including dementia population
• License: Valid and current LPN/LVN state license

Physical Demands:

• Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
• Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 20 pounds frequently (occasionally up to 50 pounds)
• Full use of gross and fine motor skills for treatments, dressing changes, medication supervision, etc.
