Interventional Cardiologist

Join our team as a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist. This position requires flexibility and a commitment to providing high-quality care in a hospital setting.

Job Description

• Inpatient only
• Patient volume varies - 3 consults per day, 2 procedures per day
• Trauma level II
• APP support - 1-2 APPs are staffed during the day, weekends - 1 APP for 5 hours/day
• Interventional cardiology procedures required
• TEE's would be highly preferred. Balloon pumps, coronary stents, IVUs, and IFR are important.
• STEMI volumes vary greatly. In 2020 they averaged 3 STEMI activations per week.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology - REQUIRED
• Active ID license or active IMLC (LOQ at time of name clear) - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and no background - HIGHLY PREFERRED

Schedule

• Start: Oct/Nov 2025
• Hospital call coverage only, 7a-7a
• Candidate MUST be available for 2 weeks per month (some months might be 10 shifts, some months might be 14 total shifts)
