Interventional Cardiologist

Join our team as an Interventional Cardiologist, providing essential care in a dynamic environment. This position involves both clinic work and hospital responsibilities, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.

Job Description

• Provider will be in clinic and also taking call. Call varies; if not on call, the provider will be rounding and doing procedures.
• The interventional role is to assist with procedures and rounds, as well as night call at the hospital.
• Must be able to read ECHOs.
• EMR used is EPIC.
• Monday through Friday inpatient rounds with an average census of 8-10 patients.
• APP and Hospitalist assistance available.
• Perform add-on catheterization procedures, mainly for inpatients, with an average of 8-9 procedures per week.
• Saturday and Sunday inpatient rounds with an average census of 6-7 patients.
• APP and Hospitalist assistance available for weekend rounds.
• STEMI call responsibilities.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology (required).
• NE license or active IMLC (required).

Schedule

• Clinic hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, on days not covering inpatient service.
• Average worked callback hours: 9-10 hours.
