Job Description

• Must be interested in covering both inpatient and outpatient services
• Required procedures include:
  • Fetal monitoring
  • Low Risk Pregnancy History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis
  • FHR Interpretation NST/CST/FSE
  • OB ultrasounds Performance of and Interpretation
  • Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
  • Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, VBACs, Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
  • Office/Minor Gynecology IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP; Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor-Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation
  • Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs
• Documentation System/EMR: Cerner, will convert to Epic in 2025
• Not accepting visa candidates
• Open to new graduate applicants who are Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) but must have plans to test and be Board Certified prior to start
• Not accepting Locums candidates
• Cannot accept providers who have any malpractice cases that are in Probate or that require supervision. Clean malpractice is preferred.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of residency and to be BC within 1 year of employment) in OB/GYN - REQUIRED
• IL license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Certified Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) - REQUIRED
• State experience on provider profile with conditions/procedures: Fetal monitoring; Low Risk Pregnancy History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis; FHR Interpretation NST/CST/FSE; OB ultrasounds Performance of and Interpretation; Routine Delivery Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section; Complicated Delivery C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions; VBACs; Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations; Office/Minor Gynecology IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP; Laparoscopic Diagnostic/Minor-Tubal Ligation, LOAs, Chromal Tubation; Operative/Major (Includes Diagnostic) Ectopic Pregnancy, Ovary Removal, Cystectomy, Extensive LOAs - REQUIRED
• Clean Malpractice - PREFERRED
• Does the provider require visa support - J1 or H1B? (note in "Additional Submission Details" field) - REQUIRED

Shift Description

Monday through Friday (clinic/surgery) + On call

Weekend Requirements

Choice of on call options (to be discussed at interview)
