Physical Therapist

Currently looking for a Physical Therapist to fill an opening with a hospital setting located around the Douglas, Arizona area. Interested candidates should have at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy with a passion to work within an outpatient setting. Candidates should also have a valid Arizona PT license or have already started the process of obtaining it. Must have outpatient experience.

Job Description

• Performs and documents initial evaluation and ongoing assessments of patient's condition, adapting treatment plans accordingly
• Develops and implements an individualized plan of care to meet required frequency of visits, which includes patient/family involvement
• Communicates patient progress with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
• Educates patients and families on the proposed treatment plan and progress, including skilled recommendations on AE/DME and community support where available and when appropriate
• Supervises activities of assistants, students, and support personnel as needed
• Plans and/or assists in patient discharge
• Ability to work in a typical clinical environment, stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time, and lift/assist patients as needed

Requirements

• The hospital setting is only seeking experienced Physical Therapists; no new grads will be considered
• Ortho PT experience within outpatient is preferred
• Active AZ PT license
• Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
• Monday - Friday schedule, 8 AM - 5 PM
