Currently looking for a Speech Language Pathologist to fill an opening within a medical setting located around the Prairie City, Oregon area. Interested candidates should have their CCCs with a passion to work with all patient populations; however, the team is also open to CFYs. Interested candidates should also have a valid Oregon SLP license or already have started the process of obtaining it. Job Description

• Evaluate, diagnose, and document speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders for initial evaluation and ongoing assessments of patient's condition, adapting treatment plans accordingly
• Develop and implement an individualized plan of care to meet required frequency of visits, which includes patient/family involvement
• Communicate patient progress with the patient, family, and interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on the proposed treatment plan and progress, including skilled recommendations on AAC and community support where available and when appropriate
• Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team
• Supervise activities of students and support personnel as needed
• Plan and/or assist in patient discharge
• Ability to work in a typical clinical environment, with stamina to remain standing or sitting for extended periods of time

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited SLP program
• Must have CCC, open to CFYs
• Mixed settings: Outpatient, Inpatient, Home, Hospice
• Active Oregon SLP license, or willing to obtain
• Full-time, direct-hire opportunity
