    Job Description:

    • Operate assigned MRI scanners to produce diagnostic images.
    • Provide patient-centered MRI services with professional standards.
    • Guide patients through MRI procedures, addressing questions and concerns.
    • Full-time position, Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays, no call.
    • Option to work part-time (30-39 hours/week).

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Screen patients before exams for precautions or contradictions.
    • Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, ensuring proper positioning.
    • Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with minimal supervision.
    • Adjust MRI scan parameters as needed.
    • Maintain positive relationships with radiologists and peers.
    • Follow physicians' orders and safety regulations.
    • Accurately maintain patient records in the Radiology Information System (RIS).
    • Keep work area orderly and clean, promoting safety.
    • Maintain ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements.
    • Ensure equipment is in good working order and complies with HIPAA guidelines.

    MRI Department Support:

    • Assist in maintaining imaging protocol manual and software upgrades.
    • Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary.
    • Assist with training new associates, providing technical expertise.

    Requirements:

    • ARRT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
    • Graduate of AMA-approved school of radiography.
    • Licensed Radiological Technologist, if applicable.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Competent to perform MRI procedures independently.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Certification in imaging specialty.
    • Bilingual skills.
