Job Description

• Salary: Based on working a minimum of 1452 hours/year at $215/hour, equating to $312,180.
• Shift length is 12 hours, working 4 on and 8 off, with opportunities for picking up other shifts/sites.

Requirements

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine.

Benefits

• 401K with immediate eligibility for employee contribution and employer matching; the match is 3% of gross pay up to IRS limits.
• Profit sharing combined with match goal of 10% (7%).
• Total compensation includes salary of $312,180, retirement funding (assuming max) of $31,218, taxes paid by the employer compared to independent contractor of $12,962, CME of $5,000, health benefits (employee + spouse) of $10,000, dental & vision of $1,000, short-term and long-term disability of $1,400, and life insurance ($150,000 policy) of $400.
• On top of the comprehensive benefits package, medical malpractice coverage and tail are provided.
• Medical scribes are provided for most attending physicians at sites where demand dictates.
