Join our team in the Auburn, Alabama area for a part-time anesthesiology position. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an ambulatory surgery center with a flexible schedule.

Job Description

• Seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible anesthesiologist
• Permanent job opening due to physician retirement
• Looking for someone to start in May 2022
• Supervise 3 CRNAs (you will not have your own cases)
• Daily volume varies from zero to 15 cases
• Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM to 3 PM (usually finished by 1 PM)
• 5 years of experience required
• 2 weeks on, two weeks off rotating schedule with flexibility through cooperation with the other anesthesiologist
• Must be proficient and competent with usual ortho nerve blocks
• Other procedures include pre-ops, ultrasound-guided nerve blocks for ortho and vascular, a small number of healthy peds for simple ortho cases, mostly ortho, general surgery, vascular dialysis access, endoscopy, and ophthalmology

• Contracted anesthesiology group
• Possible relocation assistance or sign-on bonus
• Work as W2 or 1099
• W2 compensation: $160K for this part-time position
• 1099 compensation: $200K
• $3K CME allowance
• $1K for professional fees and dues
